I love design. Some of my earliest memories are of tearing apart old electronics down to every last piece and part. I loved seeing how my experiences of using the computer were created from these hardware cities inside the devices. I remember being amazed when I opened a hard disk drive and learning that all the information was being pulled from this little needle running across a metallic disk. I was enamored by technology’s relationship to user experience, but wasn’t made aware of the craft of industrial design until I entered college.
Over many years consulting, I have worked with a variety of world class design companies including Meta, Microsoft, Valve, Logitech, LG, Amazon, P&G, Hoover, Starbucks, and Fisher Price to name a few. Crafting compelling design solutions with meaningful user experiences is what I do best.
Future technologies and evolving human experiences are what get me the most excited to come to work every day and to push companies to think beyond the status quo. As technology begins to exponentially surpass our expectations, we have an obligation to craft these technologies to enhance our human interactions and experiences. As an industrial designer, advocating for the end user is my mission, and the role of fighting for those user’s needs and desires throughout the product development process cannot be understated.
When I’m not at work designing for clients, or at home designing the future, you can find me hiking, practicing my sketching, photography and videography, making music, or learning about space, technology, or gaming. I work to be a better designer and human every day.
At the end of my career, I’d love to be a position where I can help drive decision-making within the consumer electronics and technology space to better humanity.
I believe the technology of the future will completely change the way we live our lives, and would love to be a part of a team that’s developing products that can change the world.
